Optimisation

Many problems faced by industries, businesses, and government require finding a minimum or a maximum — minimising cost or maximising throughput, for instance. We help our clients to optimise these solutions by employing a range of mathematical techniques, such as those used in operational research for example.

Each problem faced by industry, business, and government is bespoke and requires in depth evaluation and understanding to clearly define the objective(s) and any constraints which might be in play. We work with our clients to ensure their system is accurately modelled in this way, and upon determining the type of elements within the system, some of which may be known whilst others require estimation, we deploy mathematical methods to help find optimum solutions.
